The 2010 issue of Archivium Hibernicum, the annual journal of the Catholic Historical Society of Ireland wil be available from September. Volume 63 includes a calendar of the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century material held in the archives of the Pontificio Collegio Irlandese, Rome. This catalogue, prepared by Vera Orschel (John Hardiman Library, NUI Galway), with John J. Hanly, former Irish College Rome rector, offers a comprehensive description of this section of the college archive and will be an invaluable source for researchers and students of religious history in the early modern period. The accompanying engraving is of the Irish College Rome seal and was kindly provided by the current Irish College Rome vice rector, Albert MacDonnell.
