Treasures of Ushaw: Secular and Sacred’ is the title of a Colloquium in Honour of Revd Dr Michael Sharatt to be held on 15th-16th January 2014.

Speakers include:
Prof Eamon Duffy (Cambridge)
Dr Tessa Murdoch (V&A Museum)
Prof Bennett Zon (Durham University)

This two-day colloquium explores the unique and varied holdings at Ushaw College, from the archives and the library to the textile and silver collections, and will highlight the immense research potential of Ushaw’s holdings. The colloquium will also feature an exhibition of items related to the presentations, giving colloquium delegates an opportunity to see Ushaw’s treasures first-hand.
